Pastor Paul Bennett will begin the sermon series, “New Year - New Eyes” with the sermon, “Are You Seeing Giants or Grasshoppers?” based on Numbers 13:1-3, 26-33.
Many of us fail miserably at our New Year’s resolutions. Change is hard and often requires more strength and commitment than we’re able to muster. Sadly, the same pattern often plays out in the infinitely more important areas we need to change to grow our faith. For starters, we must be convicted of our need to change, which is where many people fall short. Accomplishing this, however, we must do what the Israelites could not do in Numbers 13, we must see our challenges through God’s eyes, through eyes of faith. If we’re able to do so, nothing is impossible.
