It is important to give children opportunities to serve others as a part of the larger body of Christ.

The church has been blessed with the opportunity to open Twice Blessed Free Store which provides clothing, household items, and toiletries free of charge and welcomes everyone who enters the store with open arms.

CHILDREN, YOUTH AND FAMILY SORTING NIGHTS AT TWICE BLESSED FREE STORE

If you are looking for a way to get involved in the Twice Blessed Free Store with your children then here is your chance. Four Sundays a year, in the months of October, December, February, and April, the families of RRUMC come together for a project that will help the Free Store in some way. All activities are easy enough for a 3 year old to handle and busy enough to keep a high schooler busy. It is a chance for the children from all worship services to come together as one community of faith and work together to do what God created you for, to love and to serve. Anyone is welcome to attend and most projects will last about an hour. We will always meet at 9900 Madison Ave at 3pm. Dates available on the calendar.

MISSION POSSIBLE

Four Fridays a year, in the months of September, November, January, and March we have “Mission Possible” where complete a mission for an outside community program. We begin with a mission project that families complete together and then, when we finish, we have a small activity to promote fellowship. It starts at 6pm and they usually last about an hour. We have helped places such as The City Mission, Rocky River Assistance Program, Frontline, UMCOR, and many more. All activities are set up so that any age will be able to accomplish and enjoy the project. Anyone with a childlike faith is invited to attend and experience the fun. We look forward to seeing you at the next Mission Possible. Dates are available on the events calendar.
