In this text we have an option of which set of eyes we want to view the world. Do we want to see the world through the Pharisee’s eyes or the eyes of the tax collector.
One set of eyes will raise you up and the other set will bring you down. Which one does which may very well surprise you. It’s a new year, will you put on new eyes?
