I am happy to announce that we have hired our Faith Community Health Professional, formerly called the Parish Nurse. We are excited to let all of you know we have hired Lynn Gorton.
Lynn is a member and a lay minister of this church and attends the Chapel Service. She leads our women’s LIFT Bible study and also is one of our campus leaders at our Story Church campus.
Lynn brings over 40 years of experience in the health care field and when I asked her what excites her about taking on this roll at RRUMC, she said, “I am honored to walk alongside the people of this congregation as they navigate the ups and downs and twists and turns of their stories.”
She started on September 19 and is still getting her feet wet. She is planning on working Tuesdays and Thursdays. She is excited to get to know you. Please do not hesitate to contact her at LGorton@rrumc.org.
