The Third Day: Paul
Fifth Sunday in Lent and Communion Sunday. Rev. Daniel F. Bogre will continue the Lent Sermon series, “The Third Day,” with the sermon, “Paul,” based on 1 Corinthians 15:1-11, 50-57.
Let’s start by learning where Paul came from in the scriptures.
Acts 7:54-60. That is Paul. He held the coats of those men who stoned Stephen, the first Martyr of the faith, in this text from Acts.
That text finishes with the sentence, “And Saul approved of their killing him.”
How in the world did this Saul get his name changed to Paul and go from wanting all followers of Jesus arrested and murdered to being his number one Apostle?
Let’s talk about the power of the Resurrection to change lives—maybe even yours.
